Sleddddding
Today I went sledding for the first time in like a year at the golf course with Juliana and it was pretty much the best time ever. The hills there are soo huge (though somehow not quite as entertaining as going down the side of a mountain in the woods... but whatevs). It was good to hang out though and there were only a few disasters, like when we tried to go down tandem and ended up carving down the hill like a skiier, just trying to keep from flipping over... actually I think we deserve props for that.
Friday and Saturday the Cords had back to back shows. Actually, it was the Cords-Lite, because for a bunch of different reasons, we were missing 6 guys each show, bringing us down to 10 from 16. But it was awesome anyway, and the debut of our choreo for Faded amazed hundreds, if not dozens, of people. Oh and I was a backup rapper (you know, the guy that just says like "yeah, what, what, yeah) on Friday, which of course was not to be missed. What? You missed it? Well, it'll never happen again. I'm sorry.
To celebrate, I thought I'd go out and play a game of pong with Wersal. I figured if it was one game and I was back by 12 or 12:30, I'd be fine to get up at work at 8. But after holding table for 3 games, we finally decided that was enough and ended up leaving at 2:30. BUT, I made it to work on time, and all was well. Last night, I decided not to go out (even though all I had planned for today was sledding) and instead was sleeping before 12. I got up this morning at 11:30. It was the best thing ever. EVER.
So yeah, that's all that's really been going on. It's not a really exciting term, I guess, but it was cool to finally get some snow. I'll be home on March 14th for 2 weeks, and hopefully I'll get to see a bunch of people. Looking forward to it. Until then (and my next entry, which ideally will come before March 14th), I'll leave you with this:
Yeah, that's a keg. On our smokestack. Don't tell me nobody rages anymore.
