An addendum

Still feeling kind of surprised that people would put so little thought into their public image (see previous entry), I flipped the channel to the Tonight Show, where tonight's guest was none other than Snoop D-O-double-G. A tear came to my eye, I shook my head, and turned to my computer to get started on an essay (in the sense that if your foot hurts and you slam your hand in a door, your foot will stop hurting). It hasn't helped yet, but I'm not giving up.
