So, as most people are getting off the blogging bandwagon, I'm finally joining. For a long time, I've wanted to keep a journal, but after a dozen or so failed attempts, I wasn't sure it would work out. Well, I started one again. And this time, it's for real. I decided I'd copy some parts of it on here, and maybe the desire to update this site would drive me to write more faithfully. Do I have anything so important to say that I think you all should read it? Not really. But we'll see how it goes.
I'm a student at Dartmouth College, majoring in Government (International Relations) with a minor in Environmental Studies.
Academically, I'm interested in the implications of global climate change on U.S. national security.
Not sure what's going on after graduation yet. Maybe you've heard - it's a tough job market right now...
Currently, my greatest inspiration comes from the Oscar speeches of Glen Hansard: "Make art. Make art" and Markéta Irglová: "Fair play to those who dare to dream" after winning the 2008 award for Best Original Song, "Falling Slowly."
weird, I accidentally scrolled down this far and read this Blog.
Just wanted to let you know I remember in 2nd Grade, Music class. Mrs.... (help me out here)....... told us to imagine Aliens had come to our planet, and told us they really liked the way our animals looked, but said us humans were ugly (nice right?) so they told us they were going to turn us into animals.
Mrs.... went around the room and asked what animal we would like to be.
I answered an Alligator, Luke Non a T-Rex, and John said an Eagle.
