The first of many?

So, I'm not sure how this is going to work out for me, but that's why I called this blog "An Experiment." (Is it all making sense now?) I've wanted to keep a journal for a long time, but all I ever get is about 5-10 entries, and then lose interest. I had lunch with a man a few months ago; you may have heard of him - Frank Gilroy, and he's kept a daily journal for the past 40 something years of his life. I think that's fascinating, and would love to be able to do that; however, experience has taught me that I lack the discipline for such an endeavor, and so I'm trying to use this blog as a further incentive to write daily. It's not that I think my daily life is so thrilling or my muses so captivating that they must, for the public's sake, be made available... I just wanted to finally try this blog thing out. And maybe, just maybe, I will say something that resonates (after all, that's the dream, right?) So, here goes...
